Booking

Can I book a mechanic today?: Not yet. We are signing up garages for a pilot in the West Midlands and opening booking area by area. Leave your email and we will tell you when a garage near you can take bookings.
What does a fixed quote mean?: The price for the job is set before you book, and it does not change once the car is on the ramp. The only thing that can add to it is extra work you approve.
What if the mechanic finds something else wrong?: They quote the extra work and you decide. They cannot just do it, and nothing is charged without your say-so.
Do prices include VAT?: Every price says whether VAT is included, so the total never changes at the till.

How are mechanics checked?: Every garage and mobile mechanic is checked before they can take a booking through GarageSlot.
I run a garage. How do I join?: Garages run their bookings, parts and job costs on GarageSlot Workbench. Join the Workbench pilot and we will set your garage up and email you a login.
